Alex Reiner

Alex Reiner (also known as Rainwater Renegade) is a mixed media artist born in Ecuador and raised in New England. At an early age, they were diagnosed with autism, and due to this, they grew up feeling somewhat isolated from their peers, viewing their world and others at two different places. Their art is a product of this isolation, with Alex creating fantastical, surreal worlds and combining them with elements of realistic imagery. They aim to find the perfect mix of uncanniness. Their art often depicts characters, set pieces, and designs from their imagination. Alex uses creative writing, illustration, animation. They have several projects in mind and aim to gain a footing in a media production industry that will help them achieve their goals and share their uncanniness journey.
